2025: A Journey Within “ Embracing Presence and Inner Peace

2025 has officially begun! 

How are you feeling as we step into this new year? I spent the holiday season in Japan, enjoying the winter air, delicious food, and heartwarming moments with my family. It was supposed to be the perfect way to end the year, but an unexpected twist—our entire family caught a cold! I, too, found myself bedridden for the first time in a long while, which gave me a profound reminder of how precious health truly is.

I returned to Hawaii, feeling grateful for the warm weather, the ocean breeze, and the comfort of my own bed. Soon after, I caught another cold and had to rest for several days again. Perhaps it was the sudden temperature changes or the accumulated fatigue, but once again, I was reminded of the importance of taking care of my well-being.

During those quiet moments of recovery, I had a realization—“Am I truly listening to my inner voice?”

I had been so focused on doing that I had forgotten the importance of simply being.

As I returned to Hawaii, I felt the presence of the vast blue sky, the gentle breeze, and the sound of the waves. It struck me that nature is always just being, effortlessly existing in harmony. Perhaps we, too, can realign ourselves not by trying to change, but by reconnecting with our true nature—allowing things to fall into place naturally.

Deepening the Inner Journey in 2025

This year, I want to focus on inner-reflection and cultivate more moments of presence through yoga, meditation, and mindful daily living.

The words “inner reflection” and “awakening” might sound profound, but in reality, they are found in the simple practice of being present in our everyday lives.

• Instead of trying to change, simply “be here.”

• Instead of searching for happiness, notice that it already exists in this very moment.

I will continue to explore and share my insights along this journey.

Simple Practices to Cultivate Inner Peace

Here are some small yet powerful habits that can help center the mind:

🌿 In the morning, close your eyes for one minute and feel your inner state.

🌿 At least once a day, bring awareness to the rhythm of your breath.

🌿 Before bed, express gratitude for something ordinary yet precious.

These simple shifts can gradually transform how we experience life.

A Final Thought…

No one knows what 2025 will bring. But rather than being swept away by the external changes of the world, I hope to stay connected to the stillness and light within. I believe that when we cultivate inner peace, we can navigate any waves that come our way with grace and ease.
